You have full control of your postal mail through a secure online account and you can manage you mail in real time, both sending and receiving without any delays. You can view, recycle, shred or forward your mail at the click of a button.

1. Mail is delivered into our secure mailing facility

2. All mail is sorted, barcoded and input into our computerised automated system. From this point we know where every item is and so do you through your online account.

3. Envelopes are scanned and uploaded to your secure UK Postbox online account

4. You decide what action to be taken next, well it is your post
scanned – The envelope is opened and the contents are scanned into a PDF document. This is then uploaded to your online account where you can read, save or print out
recycled – Help save the planet and yourself time by discarding unwanted mail by the click of a mouse
shredded – Destroy any sensitive information, safe guarding your security at no extra cost
forward on – Whether opened and view online or not you can forward any item to anywhere in the world, you are in total control.

5. Envelopes are only opened by our security cleared staff when you request to have an item scanned for viewing in your online account. Items that you have requested to just be shredded, recycled or forwarded will never be opened.

UK Postbox offers services that are ideal for people who travel a lot, have holiday homes in the UK or abroad, expats living abroad, people who want a fixed permanent address for life regardless how many times they move and for those who want to move to the future, today and read their post mail the same way as their email.


• Do I need to supply UK Postbox with identification?
Yes, we treat security and confidentiality as of utmost importance. In this fast moving high tec world we now live in, our own identity and security must be keep secure, therefore every UK Postbox mail box user needs to be verified. This is a very straight forward process that can be completed with no fuss. You simply complete the verification form and supply two forms of identification, which you can then is send or fax to us directly.


• What payment options are there?
We accept debit/credit cards and Paypal payments. If you want to pay by bank transfer this can be setup by prior arrangement which is often the preferred payment method by companies. Please contact billing@ukpostbox.


• How long does it take to setup an account?
The main online registration process is instant, you then need to complete and fax/send the verification form and two forms of ID. We aim to complete the verification process within one working day.


• Which UK Postbox account is right for me?
This really depends on the amount of mail that you expect to receive. If you are unsure about the volume of mail then you can start on a lower pricing plan and then move up if required from the next billing date. • What happens if my credit balance runs low?

We will send you an email requesting an account top up. You will simply click on the link and this will take you straight to a secure payment processing page. Once you have completed the payment your account will be back in credit immediately.


• How much does it cost to recycle my mail?
FREE, as part of our commitment to helping the planet we do not charge for recycling your mail. Even if you operate a Pay As You Go account, recycling is FREE


• How much does it cost to shred my sensitive mail?

FREE, as part of our commitment to your personal ID security we do not charge for shredding your confidential mail, and even if you operate a Pay As You Go account, shredding is FREE


• What is a unique customer number?
This is the number that we issue to you as soon as we have received and completed your verification process. This unique customer number then needs to be on all you mail as this is scanned and will allocate all you postal mail to your secure online account.

• Can a cancel at anytime?
You can cancel your UK Postbox at your next billing date but not less than 30 days notice. The reason for the 30 days notice is because in our experience you need at least this time to change you postal mail address and mail will probably still filter through to your online mailbox for this period of time.


• How long does it take to see scanned contents ready for viewing online?
When you view an envelope and request to view the contents we aim to open, scan and upload to you secure account within 3 working hours. Much of the time we reduce this to 30 minutes but we can guarantee this short time period Our guarantee to you is within 12 working hours.


• Can you forward mail to anywhere in the World?
Yes, we will forward you mail to any destination your request subject to any country specific laws or restrictions. You simply decide what is to be forwarded (a single letter or two months of mail), to where and by what service, this give you total control of time and cost.


• Can I send mail to the UK from anywhere in the World?
Yes, as long as you have an internet connection, you can upload or email your letter to us, we will then print it out and send by whatever Royal Mail service you have requested.


• Can I view my online mail account from a mobile phone?
Yes, you should be able to view you account with most mobile phone browsers. We are planning to launch a dedicated mobile site very shortly which will be suitable for all internet enabled phones


• Will you accept sign for letters and parcels?
Yes, we sign for letters and parcels but these must be addressed to our courier point address. It is very simple, instead of using the PO BOX number, you use an address. Your customer number will then make sure that you item will be allocated to your UK Postbox online account.


• Will you accept COD deliveries?
This can be pre?arranged as an extra service. We will ask you for certain information about the delivery and debt your credit card for the required amount plus a small handling charge (dependant on purchase type and value) for this extra service, please email us for further information.


• Where is my mail stored?
Your mail is processed through our own dedicated mailroom facility, where it is barcoded, scanned and delivered to your online account. All mail is then stored at one of our secure storage facilities.


• Can I use a UK Postbox address as a Limited Companies registered office with Companies House?

No, we do not offer Registered Office services and therefore UK Postbox addresses must not be used for the purpose of a UK Limited Company Registered office with Companies House.


• Does UK Postbox outsource any part of the process?
No, all mail stays within our own dedicated mailrooms and storage facilities. No mail is sent to a third party outsourced company at any stage of the process unless of course you want us to use a postal/courier service to forwards items onto you.

• How do I sign up?

Step 1. First, sign up. Choose which service is right for you, complete the registration process which includes personal and contact detail and credit card information.
Step 2. You will receive an email with simple form to complete which you need to send or fax to us with two forms of ID.
Step 3. Redirect you postal mail and tell everyone your unique UK Postbox address. We can send you a simple NEW ADDRESS email or you can use your account to send letters to any authorities and Banks that will require the change of information by letter.
Step 4. Log in to your account at www.ukpostbox.com and view your mail! It's that simple!
