  • Parcels - In simple terms, how does it work ?

    UK Postbox gives you an online UK mailing address with total remote control from anywhere in the world. You have full control of your postal mail through a secure online account and you can manage you mail in real time, both receiving and forwarding parcels from wherever you are.

     

    1. Parcel is delivered and signed for into our secure mailing facility

    2. All parcels are sorted, barcoded and input into our computerised automated system. From this point we know where every item is and so do you through your online account.

    3. A picture is taken and uploaded to your secure UK Postbox online account, so you can see the parcel

    4. Forward on – You can forward any item to anywhere in the world, you are in total control. Choose your forwarding address, postage/courier service and repackage if required. Its really that simple and just what for the parcel to arrive.

  • Letters - In simple terms, how does it work ?

You can view, recycle, shred or forward your mail at the click of a button.

    1. Mail is delivered into our secure mailing facility

    2. All mail is sorted, barcoded and input into our computerised automated system. From this point we know where every item is and so do you through your online account.

    3. Envelopes are scanned and uploaded to your secure UK Postbox online account

    4. You decide what action to be taken next, well it is your post
    scanned – The envelope is opened and the contents are scanned into a PDF document. This is then uploaded to your online account where you can read, save or print out
    recycled – Help save the planet and yourself time by discarding unwanted mail by the click of a mouse
    shredded – Destroy any sensitive information, safe guarding your security at no extra cost
    forward on – Whether opened and view online or not you can forward any item to anywhere in the world, you are in total control.

    Envelopes are only opened by our security cleared staff when you request to have an item scanned for viewing in your online account. Items that you have requested to just be shredded, recycled or forwarded will never be opened.

  • What do I need to provide for proof of address?

    Suitable proof of address documents include utility bills, phone bills, rent agreement, council tax reports, or bank statements. These must be less than 6 months old. If you are not able to provide a similar form of address ID, please contact us to see how we can help

  • What Personal Identification do I need to provide?

    Photo Identity 
    Your actual address is a UK address - Passport or Drivers Licence
    Your actual address is Outside of the UK - Passport only, Drivers Licence is not accepted.

  • Form 102

    Form 102 needs to be completed and returned with your ID verification as it requires signature. You can download Form 102 here

  • How do I sign up?

    Step 1. First, sign up. Choose which service is right for you, complete the registration process which includes personal and contact detail and credit card information.

    Step 2. You will receive an email with simple form to complete which you need to upload, email, send or fax to us with two forms of ID.

    Step 3. Tell everyone your unique UK Postbox address and if required redirect you postal mail. We can send you a simple NEW ADDRESS email or you can use your account to send letters to any authorities and Banks that will require the change of information by letter.

    Step 4. Log in to your account at https://client.ipostalmail.net and view your mail! It's that simple!

  • What is a unique customer number?

    This is the number that we issue to you as soon as we have received your documents, and completed the verification process. This unique customer number needs to be on all your mail, as this is scanned and will allocate your mail to your secure online account. This does not apply to prime street addresses.

  • Which UK Postbox account is right for me?

    This really depends on the amount of mail you expect to receive. If you are unsure about the volume of mail, you can start on a lower priced plan, and move up if required.

  • How long does it take to setup an account?

    The main online registration process is instant, you then need to complete and upload/email/fax or post the verification form, and 2 forms of ID. We aim to complete the verification process within 24 hours (during working/office hours)

  • Do I need to supply UK Postbox with identification?

    Yes, we treat security and confidentiality as of utmost importance. In this fast moving high-tech world we now live in, our own identity and security must be kept secure, therefore every UK Postbox user needs to be verified inline with the UK's laundering guidelines.

    This is a very straightforward process that can be completed with no fuss. You simply complete the verification form and supply two forms of identification, which you can then upload to our secure server, email, post, or fax to us directly.

  • How do I pay for this service?

    With a PAYG price plan, you top up your account through your profile, with a debit/credit card, or PayPal (You do not need to have an account to use PayPal) There is also the option of bank transfer (Contact admin@ukpostbox.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

     

    With a Lite, Standard or Premier plan, You pay your subscription for 3, 6 or 12 months when you sign up, and then pay for any extras through your profile in the same way as PAYG

    We also offer credit facilities to companies subject to credit checks.

  • How quickly will I receive my new address?

    As soon as we receive your Form 102, and both address, and personal ID, we will start processing your account.

    This is normally completed within a few hours, at a maximum of 24 working (office) hours.

  • Does UK Postbox outsource any part of the process?

    No, all mail stays within our own dedicated mailrooms and storage facilities. No mail is sent to a third party outsourced company at any stage of the process unless you request your items to be forwarded via a postal/courier service.

  • Where is my mail stored?

    Your mail is processed through our own dedicated mailroom facility, there it is bar-coded, scanned, and delivered to your online account. All mail is then stored at one of our secure storage facilities

  • What happens if my credit runs low?

    We will send you an email requesting an account top up. All you have to do is click on the link, and it will take you to a secure payment processing page, once you have completed the payment, your account will be credited immediately

  • What payment options are there?

    We accept debit/credit cards and PayPal payments. If you want to pay by bank transfer this can be set up by prior arrangement which tends to be the preferred method by companies.

  • How can I be sure my documents will be safe and secure?

    Your details will be completely secure. We do not release personal information under the data protection act, please see our privacy policy.We are not wholly owned by public authorities, we are a private company so we do not give out details under the Freedom of Information Act which applies to most public authorities.

    We provide you with a world class online mailing facility whilst ensuring your information is kept private and confidential.
